Our partners from the Forum for Vehicle History (F-kubik) have been awarding the "Golden Piston" at the Bremen Classic Motorshow since 2006. Each year, the prize goes to somebody who has made a special contribution to conveying the history of mobility. The 2023 winner is the Swiss publisher and journalist Bruno von Rotz. With his internet portal zwischengas.com he is well known in the classic vehicle community as a pioneer of online journalism in the field. He has also made major archives of photos and historical articles available on the web. Furthermore, since 2014 he has been responsible for the SwissClassics Revue, which is published six times a year.

By choosing Bruno von Rotz, F-kubik has welcomed a respected expert in automotive and vehicle history into the circle of Piston holders. All the people and institutions to receive the prize have in their own way contributed to the positive development and image of the classic vehicle community in the German-speaking world. Bruno von Rotz is the 18th winner of the award.
